We work so that all persons without exception have a guaranteed right to quality education, paying special attention to persons and collectives that encounter greater obstacles when accessing this right: young girls and women, students with disabilities, families with scarce economic resources, migrants or refugees and persons affected by conflict or natural disaster.
Already more than 110 million people worldwide have been forced to leave their homes due to conflict, natural disaster, extreme poverty or human rights violations. We accompany and assist migrants and refugees both at source and in transit, at destination and on return, placing special emphasis on protecting the right to education.

We promote changing cultural patterns and defending gender equality as a fundamental human right and privileged strategy for building peace and development.
We pay special attention to women and young girls, who face greater inequality and vulnerability due to their gender, and we work through specific projects to protect them from violence, encouraging their participation and promoting their development, using education as the fundamental tool.

The causes underlying global challenges like poverty, inequality or environmental degradation are found in global processes. The answer to these challenges calls for a global citizenship that is conscious, committed, articulate in local and global networks and capable of taking these on. We aim to take special care of youth participation, which invites us to rethink a new world and secure the participation of the more excluded and vulnerable individuals and collectives. This is why this cause impacts all others across the board.
